About

A studio built on curiosity and craft.

KNGDM Ven LLC was founded in August 2026 by Mary Buitron, a designer who spent twelve years in Los Angeles agencies before returning to Santa Ana to build a slower, more deliberate practice.

Why Santa Ana

Santa Ana sits at the center of Orange County, a city with deep murals, strong food culture, and a creative community that has been making things long before it was fashionable. We chose Hobart Street because it is close to the artists, printers, and fabricators we collaborate with every week.

Being here keeps us honest. Our neighbors are muralists, sign painters, and letterpress operators. If our work does not hold up next to theirs, it does not leave the studio.

Our values

Craft

Details matter

We check kerning, test paper stocks, and proof colors under multiple light sources. Small decisions compound into quality.

Clarity

Say it plainly

Good design is not decoration; it is communication. We write briefs in plain language and present work without jargon.

Durability

Built to last

We design systems that survive staff turnover, platform changes, and shifting tastes. A brand should not need a redesign every two years.

Respect

For audience and client

We do not manipulate, patronize, or overpromise. Design should serve the person reading, watching, or walking through it.
